About Jennifer

Mrs. Bosma visited my first grade classroom during our story writing unit. She explained where the idea of her book, "I Know the Plans", originated from and about the book writing process. She read the story aloud using props and encouraged the students to be life-long writers. She was very engaging and my class loved it! I highly recommend Mrs. Bosma for an author visit in any classroom!

Jennifer came to my preschool to read her book, I Know the Plans.  She did so much more than read her story!  She took the children on a journey across all of the continents to learn about the animals and their habitats.  She incorporated scripture, song, movement and visual aids.  The students were engaged the entire time.  As if that wasn't enough, she managed to share with the  children how she became inspired by the book, and some fun facts about working with the illustrator.  Children will walk away from her story time safe in the knowledge that God is with them wherever they go - even Antarctica!
